Very true.The confidence in me grows by the day , when I see that on my way from home to a prospect or an AMCs office , a hundrerd gold shops. Just because there is a gold vendor , people are not flocking at them. Same is the case with MFs. just by selling direct share class , or even using the e commerce , people will not be flocking them, so much so that their sites will crash. Who is there to create a need to buy their products is all important. Those AMCs which understand this fact and reward the IFAs well will only prosper( by paying better trail than the rest of the channels).God bless those , who ignore the IFAs
Most of the Medicore/low growth AMCs are those where the CEO thought that distributor feedback is irrelevant. Also, most of the negative growth AMCs are those where the CEO thought that distributor is irrelevant. For any AMC, its very easy to grow faster, it just has to understand that the feedback of the distributor is very important.
