I welcome Union KBC as a new fund house, however I am very much of the view that having too many AMCs is not a good idea. We also need really few number of schemes. Exiting the market with trigger option is not a good policy for Short Term. Only when the investor has gained long term wealth (say 10 - 15 times) this trigger option may be used. Although short term triggers will probably excite First time investors the strategy will work only in Bullish phase. Also Investors will fail to understand the long term Wealth Creation potential.
