today liquid funds are a appropirate aloo tikki burgers for IFA's to enter savings basket of new investor. However on the other part the challenge today is to retain existing equity mf holding investors .. would like to have your insights on addressing existing missold investors in the market and message to them
Navin's both example are good & down to earth. But explaning to client in small cities where awareness is less is a tuff task. we would like to hear more from him.
Very good example to revive and rebuild our business
When we are selling intangible product this type of simple tricks work. Would love to see more from Navin, who talk from Grass root level.. Best of Luck
I had the honour of hearing Mr.Navin's talk at the Wealth Forum Platinum Circle meet. It is always abpleasure listening to him. He esposuses some very practical ideas and I fully agree with him on going back to the basics. we unnecessarily complicate matters while building portfolios.
Wonderful idea. We still need more educated IFAs who are customer centric not sales target centric. When the selling stops, the advising starts!!
what is the alutikki for mutual fund investments? because all will not have friends with 12 lakhs in sb accounts good thoought provoking we can rejig our plans
INDIAN ARE SAVERS TRUE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEMES IN INDIA AS IN OTHER DEVELOPED SO ONE HAS TO CREATE HIS OWN POST RETIREMENT CORPUS AS REGARDS RETAIL PENETRATION TO FEW INVESTORS ARE BEING CHASED BY MAJOR IFAS NOBODY IS BOTHERED TO LOOK FOR NEW PASTURES
The case of Mcdonalds is interesting.we have to increase averness among investors.
All we should learn from McDonald's story for our better futue.
thanking you air
veri good fantastic &hydrogen bomb idea
A good idea... Intresting..
A good article for avakening of advisors for retail penetration. We think that we recieve a huge revenue from a small investor on first day meeting.firstly we make beneficial plan for investor and then ask for income.
1) Good statistics 2) AMC gets the investor on Board through FMP and liquid Funds and then Starts sending Direct mailer on email / courier to Investor , ignoring the distributor who brought them on board. 3) Indians are Investors. Since March 2008 to march 2012 - 4 years many investors have stayed in equity fund with no returns. AMC need to see there fund performance before pointing figures to others. 4)Birla MF is in existance for 17 years (1994).What efforts have they done for retail and new equity business. Most assets they hold since years are in debt.
INDIANS ARE SAVER BUT INDIANS ARE CONSERVATIV THEY NOT WANT ANY RISK ON HIS SAVING TOO
Good trick adopted.. But with some mis selling.. How long liquid funds be able to give 4-5% more than bank s/b rates? Do see 5 year rolling returns of liquid funds since its inception.. and than argue.. I AM afraid who shall pay house expenses after 2013-14? Most fund managers expect interest rates to come down drastically..
Practical approach and eye opening advise to understand the diffrance between investor and saver
"Indians are savers more than investors" This is the key mantra to bring investors in the mutual fund arena.
Nice approach to begin with.
